Nora and I have returned safely from Turkey. This is a picture Nora took of me in front of some doors at Hagia Sophia. In honor of completion of this trip I am posting one of the new songs I have been working on this past year.
Already Dead
“Already Dead” is lyrically loosely based on the novel “Already Dead” by Denis Johnson. It was recorded early this past October on Garageband using a Stamps Drive-O-Matic XL overdrive as a preamp and a Boss Digital Reverb/Delay RV-3 unit for reverb. Thanks to Maddie Bryant for use of her lap-steel guitar and to Mike Barnes for use of the Drive-O-Matic.
